Bizarre, strange book. Pretty much enforces that girls have to be thin and dressed to the nines to be worth anything, that women need no wrinkles and love spells to keep their husbands. I couldn't relate at all with the protagonist in any of her phases-dreads or debutante. And the end...why did I read to the end?Content: swearing, lots of pot
